John has been playing guitar since middle school. Growing up, he continued to excel at his craft, pulling influences and inspiration from anywhere he could.

Misty Eyed is far from his first band; he has never given up the dream and continues to grow in any way he can.

You can often find John at his favorite mountain biking trails or restoring his old Nissan truck.
